22 Countries in 1 Hour

BootUP is truly international, as regular followers of our activities know, but we probably surpassed even our own record on October 18. We were privileged to welcome the International Visitor Leadership Program from the U.S. Department of State with representatives from 22 countries: Andorra; Armenia; Austria; Bosnia & Herzegovina; Bulgaria; Croatia; Cyprus; Denmark; Estonia; Finland; Germany; Greece; Hungary; Iceland; Italy; Norway; Poland; Portugal; Slovakia; Spain; Sweden; and the United Kingdom! Mukul Agarwal, Founder & CEO of BootUP, provided some of his unique perspectives on entrepreneurship and innovation to the distinguished participants in this Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation program, a Regional Project for Europe. We look forward to building bridges with all these countries!

Building Bridges with Denmark

A few weeks ago, representatives from the Consulate General of Denmark visited BootUP for the first time.  We were thrilled to welcome them back last week, as they hosted a discussion regarding building a transatlantic cybersecurity bridge between Denmark and Silicon Valley.  We were also honored to welcome the Tech Ambassador of Denmark, Caspar Klynge, who is the world’s first ever Tech Ambassador, responsible for tech and digital diplomacy – TechPlomacy. We look forward to future collaboration!

Bavarian Delegation from Munich Visits BootUP

On October 23, a Bavarian delegation led by the Munich/Upper Bavaria Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Munich) visited BootUP to learn more about our Venture Studio and how we work with companies to help them innovate.  The delegation included 11 representatives from German companies, as well as representatives from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology. We thank GACC West for providing us with the opportunity to meet this great group from Bavaria!  We look forward to more visits to come!
